Como fazer compras na PSN?
07/09/2008 - 15:20

Caros,

Tentei sim,

Olá Dauto.

Tentei sim, claro. Mas aí cai no seguinte problema:
- Não existe PSN para o Brasil;
- Para poder me cadastrar, tive que usar um endereço falso nos EUA;
- A PSN faz validação do endereço cadastrado com o endereço constante no cartão (no meu caso, VISA);

----------
Hello Gustavo,

Thank you for writing us.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please note the following cards are acceptable for use at the
PLAYSTATION(R)Store:

MasterCard
Visa
Discover
American Express

We also accept debit and check cards with the official MasterCard or Visa logos printed on them.

Additionally, please verify with your bank whether your credit or debit card is compatible with
Address Verification System (AVS). If your credit or debit card does not support AVS it may not be
accepted by the PLAYSTATION(R)Network.

Please note all credit/debit cards for use with the North American PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer
entertainment system, must have a billing address within North America.

Below we have included some suggestions when entering in billing information for the
PLAYSTATION(R)Network:

- Confirm with your card issuer that your credit card / debit card is active.
- We do not recommend using gift cards. We cannot guarantee they will work, especially if they do
not have a billing address tied to the account.
- For North American (United States or Canada) PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment systems, you
may only use credit or debit cards with North American (United States or Canada) billing addresses.
No international bank cards may be used through the North American PLAYSTATION(R)Network
registration system.
- We also recommend you remove any special characters when entering your billing address into the
PLAYSTATION(R)Network account registration form such as, asterisks (*), hyphens (-), and slashes ( /
). (For example, if your address is 1547 1/2 Lincoln Way, we recommend removing the fraction and
try entering "1547 Lincoln Way" instead.
- If none of the above work for your credit or debit card, we would recommend using a different
card.

If you have been locked out of the PLAYSTATION(R)Network billing system due to multiple incorrect
attempts, we would advise that you to wait 48 hours before attempting to try again.

If you are located outside of the North American region, you may still be able to create a
PLAYSTATION(R)Network account using a US or US territory address and purchase content from the North
American PLAYSTATION(R)Store, however, you must have a North American credit card or debit card
(with a Visa or MasterCard logo).

If you are having issues redeeming a PLAYSTATION(R)Network Card (PSN Card):

- Make sure the card has been activated. The PSN Card must be activated by a store clerk where the
PSN Card was purchased before it may be used.

- The PSN Card may only be used with a PLAYSTATION(R)Network Master Account with an address in the
United States. The PSN Card will not work on accounts with addresses from another country or
region.

- The Wallet has a limit of $150.00. If the face value of the card would put your Wallet balance
above this amount, you will be unable to redeem the PSN Card until the full face value can be put
into the Wallet. Please note, no partial redemptions are possible.

- PINs are case sensitive, so be sure you are entering the PIN exactly as it is displayed on the
back of the card. When entering the PIN through the PC Store or PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer
entertainment system, the PIN will consist of three groups of four alpha-numeric characters. You
must enter each four character sequence, hit enter, move to the next box, etc.

Please note that we do not recommend using prepaid cards other than the PLAYSTATION(R)Network Card,
as they may not be accepted by the PLAYSTATION(R)Network. All credit/debit cards used on the
PLAYSTATION(R)Network must have a physical North American address tied to it.

Also, with each attempt to verify your credit or debit card on the PLAYSTATION(R)Network a dollar
authorization hold will be placed on you credit or debit card account. While you may see a dollar
amount authorized, we do not actually charge the card (deduct any funds). Please keep in mind that
your bank may still place a hold on the dollar amount according to their own policies. However, the
bank will release the $1.00 back to your account within a few days and this amount will be added
back to your account balance. Please contact your bank/credit card company for details on their
policies and procedures regarding authorizations.

I'm trying to enter my debit card information to acquire titles from the PlayStation Network (US),

The credit card information is not valid.
Please check your entries carefully.

My card is a virtual VISA debit card, created with the ENTROPAY service: http://www.entropay.com/

I can see the temporary authorization was completed on my card's balance, but the proccess just
refuses to finish successfully.

Thanks in advance.

Resposta da Entropay:

-------

Dear Gustavo,

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Although our cards accepted by a vast majority of online merchants, please note PlayStation Network have made some adjustment with their payment mechanism and are no longer able to process payments with prepaid cards.

Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.

-------

Hello,

I'm trying to use Entropay to add funds to my PlayStation Network wallet, and it repeatedly fails with the message "The credit card information is not valid. Please check your entries carefully."

I contacted PSN which informed me that the card has to support AVS - Address Verification System.

So, does Entropay Card support such funcionality?

Is there any history of Entropay being not usable with PlayStation Network?

Thanks in advance.
Gustavo
